Benefits of Arming/Disarming Your Cameras

With the Hikvision Liveguard solution, the lights, audible warnings and phone notifications will only be triggered when the system is in an armed state. This is to ensure you are not constantly alerted by the system when walking around the house.

• The first thing you will need to do is click the bell icon sitting next to your NVR on your Hik-Connect home screen. You will then see your list of areas and the master icons down the bottom.
• If you wish to arm the entire system, click the away arm icon (see right image below, the away icon is the furthest to the left)
• If you wish to disarm the system, click the disarm icon (see right image below, the disarm is the open lock icon 3rd from the left)
• The other two icons are not relevant for CCTV systems and are designed for the Hikvision Alarm system.
