The ColorVU Hybrid Fixed Network Camera gives you the best of both worlds. At night, the camera gives you a clear IR image, however, when triggered by a human/vehicle, the supplement light switched on to give you a full colour image. By giving you a full colour image, you will able to gather far more information than a traditional black and white IR image, however, the inbuilt IR means you don't need to have the supplement light on all night during non-events.  Hikvision's well loved Live-Guard function allows you to arm/disarm the camera and set audible warnings as an active deterrent.
