Arming/Disarming Liveguard Cameras

Benefits Setting Up New Areas (V4/V5)

One of the many benefits of the Liveguard solution is the ability to create up to 4 areas allowing you to arm certain cameras at a time. 

1. Firstly you will need to open you Hik-Connect app and select the bell icon next to your NVR
2. You will then need to press the cog icon in the top right hand corner and select the Area menu
3. On the area you would like to enable (e.g Area 2), you will need to click on the area and select the Enable Toggle.
4. In the linked camera section, you will need to select the camera that you are wanting to add to the area.
5. You can also rename the area and set up auto arm and disarm

1. Firstly make sure your home screen view is the same as 1. (If it isn't press on the button until it is) - Click the 3 dots - Select Arm/Disarm Area

   2. The + symbol will add new areas - The Icons at the top will allow you to         control all area's at the same time - Selecting individual area's will                 allow you to arm area's separately - Selecting the Cogg will allow you           to edit the cameras linkages

   3. Selecting the 3 dots - edit -  will allow you to name your area's, add/             remove cameras.

   4. Click the Cogg, select a camera - Once done you can control the                   Active Deterrent features - Auto Arm/ Disarm Functionality.
