Sharing Your Hikvision CCTV With New Users

On the Hikvision CCTV systems, you can only have the one master user that can scan the QR code. Please note, at this stage ONLY the master user can arm/disarm the cameras. If you wish to arm/disarm over multiple devices, you can use the same Hik-Connect login. You can add other users to the system to live view and playback through the Hik-Connect app using the steps below.

1. The new user needs to download the Hik-Connect app onto their device and create a free account using a phone number or email
2. The master user needs to open the home page on the Hik-Connect app and select the share icon (green box).
3. From there you need to select share with user and enter the mobile/email used to create the new user’s account and select next
4. You will have a range of permission options, continue to click next if you are happy with what the new users will be able to see. Finally, you will click the finish button and the new user will have access to the cameras on their account. If they do not show, try hitting the refresh button.
